Here are some examples of what you can do with the rolls, pincurls, and finger waves. Most of the styles of the era can be done with those three methods. On some of the styles, I've taken a stab at trying to figure out how they're done, but I'm not a hairdresser, so don't take what I've written as gospel!

I grabbed these great images off eBay for a song, and I just love looking through them. But I have a sneaking suspicion that a few of the more radical ones (say, the Swing Bang) are a lot like some of the pictures you might see on the walls of a salon today... dorky!
