I have wanted cury hair for ages!! i have quite long and very thick, heavy hair and the curls just wouldnt stay. I had spent ages looking for a way in which i could do my hair using rags, i found your site and here is the result. I decided not to do the whole of my hair because I have too much! THANKS!! I had put this page in my bookmarks and I have been watching and waiting for you to put the rolls up. I tried it today and it turned out great! I have really short hair so I wasn't sure if it would work on me or not, but it did. My parents took a bunch of pictures with our digital camera and thought you might want some so here ya go.

Well, i just did it about 3 hours ago and it's still up, so i did it! Thank you so much! I never would have thought ratting could have such an effect, but wow, it did. It looks pretty good, actually, i know i will get better and faster as i keep doing it, but i'd feel comfortable wearing it as it is now out to a club. My mom said it looked really good so i'm happy! ...Sherri
Thanks so much for taking the time for such a detailed reply! I tried the rolls, keeping only the top part of the hair in, and it worked quite well. I haven't gotten a snood, but I do have another technique I use on the back part of my hair to keep it out of the way. When I've gotten the look down a little better, I will send you a photo. i followed your directions for pincurls and they worked great. it only took me an hour to get all of my hair set. they turned out really cute, but i didn't know what to do with them. do you have any particular suggestions for an awesome swing hairdo? i have short hair, about to the nape of my neck, and only a few layers in the back that are about as long as the length. if you have any ideas, i'd really love to hear about them. once again, thanks for the great instructions about the pincurls.Lizzie
Just wanted to let you know the pincurl directions were great! Even without photos, I could figure it out. I liked the idea of just pinning the bottom part - I had wanted to try pincurls, but dreaded the idea of pinning up my entire head of past the shoulders hair!Thanks, Sarah
