The set - Moisten hair with wave set (this designer uses a mixture of 1 teaspoon lemon essence and 1/2 cup water). Set in pin curls as shown in sketches 1, 2 and 3. Combing out is the real trick with this hair-do - start by brushing hair vigorously. |

Then sweep back of hair to the right and secure it with two combs - face teeth of top comb forward, bottom comb backward. |

Now coax ends into a plump bun over right ear. Swirl top right side of front hair into a fluff over right eyebrow. |

Wheedle hair into a 1926 "dip" low on left cheek and roll ends under in a 3" curl back of left ear. Smooth cream-set or pomade over back sweep of hair to discipline straying ends. |
